The grand total of volunteer hours for our UEN CWP for 2011 is 443.5. This is a super contribution by UEN residents who truly care about the safety of our neighborhood.

Speed kills - Please remind your family members and their friends (especially teenagers with new licenses) that speeding through the neighborhood streets and alleys is dangerous. Someone you love could be injured or killed due to speeding in the neighborhood.

General Crime Watch Reminders...

Keep garage doors closed at all times. It only takes a few seconds to have someone steal your lawnmower, or worse yet, enter your home and threaten you and your family.

Protect your personal belongings (i.e., purses, check books. etc.) when shopping. Grocery stores and restaurants seem to be focal point for thefts of this type.

Never leave any valuables inside your vehicle. When applicable, remove stereo faceplates and conceal power cords for phones.

Clean out your garage and place the vehicle inside with the garage door closed.

Lock your vehicle. Many vehicle offenses occur due to vehicles being unsecured.
